A Garden Market

During the summer, our family visited St. Simons Island. It's a wonderful beach town with great places to eat and lots of great shopping. As usual I had my camera with me (which drives my kids crazy) and I snapped a few photos of the cutest little store, The Vine. In the South, we do things on a grand scale (like big hair) so when it comes to plants-we do Big! Step inside this market and see for yourself…

If you are ever on St. Simons Island, stop by and meet Joy-she'll be the one putting together gorgeous topiaries!

The Vine is a landscape design company and garden shop.
The outside of the market is just as gorgeous as the inside.

Old screen doors, iron gates, ivy vines, galvanized containers and
lots of beautiful plants fill the shop.

The back wall is a mirror that makes the space look bigger -it looks a window to the outside. (Great decorating tip if you have a small space and you want to make it feel bigger.

She has the best little containers sprinkled throughout the space.
(test tubes, wire baskets, wooden crates and clay pots)

I love this old metal gate-the chipping paint is perfection.

This is Joy! Isn't she adorable….

Check out their website at http://www.vinegardenmarket.com

They specialize in landscape and event design as well the garden market shop.

Thank you Joy for letting me take photos of your shop and getting a tour!
