Coastal Living Space Transformation: PART 2

COASTAL LIVING SPACE TRANSFORMATION: PART 2

This cottage style home is currently under "construction"- decorating construction that is. The walls have been painted and furniture selection is under way. Using things, my clients already has is one way to save on expenses. Take a look around at our progress!

My client's living space is coming together and it's been so much fun! Mandi painted the walls with Sherman Williams Top Sail Blue-it really softens the room and brings it to life. The wall color was the jumping off point for this design. Mandi and her husband purchased two new sofas from Rooms To Go-coastal style love seat and sleeper sofa. These additions to the room really make a statement. We got rid of some of the out dated furniture and chose something more family friendly and comfortable. Notice the 12 pane windows (24 total top and bottom). We removed the blinds so those beautiful windows could be displayed. My hubby is in the background getting ready to hang curtains for me.

Mandi has this adorable little foyer. We will be putting bead board in this area to bring in the "WOW" factor when you walk into the house.

That's Mandi painting! Half of this wall (the part unpainted) will be torn down to open up the dining room into the kitchen-that's our next project!

A sneak peek at the gorgeous table that Mandi's dad made. We kept the base and painted it white. He built a new top using several boards put together - it looks like a really old table one board wide. I painted the chairs in duck egg blue. I totally love this table and chairs!

A little glance at the  white coastal sofas!

My favorite spot in the room. I found a shutter at the Habitat for Humanity Restore and painted it white. It gives the room a coastal flare and of course I love the palm tree!! See all the light coming through-this room is so happy!

The BIG REVEAL will be coming soon! Stay tuned.....
