Coastal Living Space Transformation: PART 1

Come on over and check out this amazing transformation. With a little elbow grease, repurposing furniture, freshly painted walls and some fun family decor- see how we took this living space and turned it into a coastal oasis. Notice the wall paper mural- it doesn't go with the coastal theme we wanted!

My client, Mandi, is such a trooper. She opened her home to me in March and we began the process of taking her home of 11 years and working together to make her living space a peaceful retreat for her family.

In this blog post, you will see the BEFORE pictures of her den and dining room. This home was built in the 1950's and has such great bones. It was a pleasure working with Mandi and her family!

Her hubby's chair-that we ended up not keeping!

Seating was an issue- she had a small sofa and an old chair
but the space just wasn't cozy for the family.

Some of the furniture was too large for the space. We wanted to open it up especially in the dining room so everyone could gather around the table.

Mandi has great pieces to work with in her home.
The buffet has great lines but needed some love.

We chose a light blue color, Top Sail by Sherman Williams,
to lighten up the living space. Her dad took all of the wall paper down for us.
He was our handy man on several projects. We appreciate his expertise and time!

Come back soon for PART 2 and more of the coastal transformation!
